Our program offers FREE intercultural learning opportunities within a diverse community of people from the USA and other countries.
Our community hosts fun events, one-on-one learning partnerships, cultural awareness and development classes, and English Language Learning (ESL) opportunities.
The Intown ESL4Peace Program helps English Language Learners, international students, immigrants, Americans, and teams of volunteers to develop English language and intercultural communication skills while exploring peace education and growing intercultural friendships in a community. People from all religious and cultural backgrounds are welcome. Learn more about us >
We normally meet at Intown Community Church (2059 Lavista Rd NE) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and on Sunday mornings in the Intown Coffeehouse. However, due to concerns about COVID-19, we are only regularly meeting virtually for one-on-one learning partnerships and other virtual learning small groups. Sometimes these meetings may have an option for meeting in person, and we hope to organize some small in-person events sometime in the future.
Childcare and transportation are not available this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Please visit our Classes page for more info, or contact our Coordinator Ben Allin by text at 7705459859 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
